From Government Camp, we headed out on the 26. We hung a left on the 216 to Maupin- which was a very nice ride through the woods that eventually dumped us out onto the high desert (and warmer weather).
We rode into Maupin for more fuel, water, Nut Rolls and a little time off the bike. Next up was the longest leg of the day, and we wanted to make sure we were ready for it.
